Title: The Psychology of Fashion

Description: This project focuses on data representation and meaning in which we had to choose a social, political, or environmental issue to research and then create a scrolling infographic to display our findings as well as a process book to document our process and research. I chose to highlight a social issue that is fashion psychology. More than just aesthetics, fashion is cultural, empowering, and communicative. Understanding the role fashion and presentation has in one’s life can be a means for a better quality of life in regards to self image, community, and power. My infographic incorporated hand drawn illustrations of photographs I took of my friends that I conducted research on for the project as well.
